The two teams that will play tonight’s tiebreaker may have identical 1-2 records, but Peterborough has the advantage of surviving one elimination game already, beating Quebec in their final round-robin game to avoid their tournament ending outright.
They will still have to overcome the crowd that will be decidedly in favour of their opponent, the host Kamloops Blazers. It should be a playoff atmosphere with the winning team moving on to play Seattle in the semifinal, while the loser sees a sudden start to its off-season.
