2018 IIHF World Championship schedule: May 11, 2018

Group A Preliminary Games

10:15 AM ET: Austria (0-0-1-3, 1 pt, 7th) vs France (1-0-0-3, 3 pts, 6th)

France is coming off of a 3-1 loss to Slovakia on Thursday and will look to get back on the winning track. If Austria is unable to pick up points against France, their fate will all come down to their game against Belarus.

The game will be shown on TSN 4 in Canada.

2:15 PM ET: Czech Republic (0-3-0-1, 6 pts, 5th) vs Belarus (0-0-0-4, 0 pts, 8th)

The Czechs are coming off of a huge overtime win against Russia, but have yet to win a game in regulation which is why they sit in 5th despite winning three of their four games. Belarus, having already fired their coach, is looking for anything to stay in the top division.

The game will be shown on TSN 1,4 and RDS in Canada.

Group B Preliminary Games

10:15 AM ET: Denmark (1-1-0-2, 5 pts, T-5th) vs Norway (0-1-1-2, 3 pts, 7th)

Denmark is coming off of their stunning win against Finland, but it will be all for naught if they cannot win a game they should be winning against Norway. Norway should be safe from relegation, but a point here would all but secure their quarter-final berth.

The game will be on TSN 1 and RDS in Canada and NHL Network in the USA.

2:15 PM ET: United States (2-2-0-0, 10 pts, T-1st) vs South Korea (0-0-0-4, 0 pts, 8th)

The United States have added Charlie McAvoy and should win this one easily to keep their undefeated run going. South Korea is looking for anything to stay in the top division, but it’s likely not coming from this game.

The game will be on TSN 3 in Canada and NHL Network in the United States.

All games shown on TSN will be streamed on TSN Go in Canada, but it requires a subscription to TSN. NHL Network in the US will be showing games as well, but listings did not always confirm which games will be shown.
