* Lottery odds are unofficial

Seven of the 10 lottery teams in action lost last night, and none of those got even a single point. Impressive tanking all around.

The Arizona Coyotes score five goals. And lost.

The New York Islanders scored six goals. And also lost.

The Vancouver Canucks won for the second time in 12 games.

The Edmonton Oilers are the hottest bottom-10 team. They’re playing loose, perhaps because there’s no pressure to make the playoffs, but probably because they know they’re going to win the draft lottery anyway.

Lowlight of the night

It’s a light schedule on Friday, with only five games, but there are five lottery teams involved. With two all-lottery matchups. two of those teams have to win, even if they don’t want to.
