2016 World Cup: Team USA vs Team Czech Republic game thread, schedule, lines, and how to watch
Both teams seek a little redemption after a disastrous tournament
The Czech Republic and the USA had high hopes heading into the 2016 World Cup. Unfortunately for both, they failed to gain much traction.
The Czechs fell to Canada 6-0 in their opening game, and followed it up with a courageous effort versus Team Europe, losing 3-2 in overtime.
As for the USA - the team that was custom built to beat Canada according to many - they also suffered two losses, including particularly lacklustre performance versus their continental rivals. It turns out that pairing one of the best players in the NHL beside Justin Abdelkader may not have been a wise move, but John Tortorella has no regrets.
Tortorella says that in hindsight he wouldn't change anything about his roster.

With neither team having a chance to qualify for the semi-finals, there’s nothing but pride on the line tonight.
