2015 World Junior Hockey Championships schedule released

For the first time since 1978, the World Junior Hockey Championships are coming back to Montreal. As most people already know, the tournament will take place this winter between Montreal and Toronto, with Montreal’s Bell Centre hosting the preliminary round for Group A, which includes Team Canada, while Toronto’s Air Canada Centre will host the medal round.

Here is the schedule for Team Canada’s preliminary round:

Date Time Home Team Away team Location
December 26th, 2014 8:00pm Canada Slovakia Bell Centre (Montreal, QC)
December 27th, 2014 8:00pm Canada Germany Bell Centre (Montreal, QC)
December 29th, 2014 8:00pm Canada Finland Bell Centre (Montreal, QC)
December 31st, 2014 4:00pm Canada United States Bell Centre (Montreal, QC)

*All times in Eastern Standard Time

Obviously Canada isn’t the home team in all these games, but that’s how they were listed on the press release from the Canadiens. Canadiens prospects Martin Reway and Artturi Lehkonen are all but guaranteed to play for Slovakia and Finland respectively, which could give Habs fans a good glimpse of them in top competition for their age group.
