Juulsen is a lanky two-way defensemen for the Everett Silvertips in the WHL, he moves the puck well and finished second in the league in scoring by a defensemen. He is also unafraid to play the physical game, often throwing huge hits or battling along the boards. Projected to be a potential top four defenseman in the NHL.

In the third round Trevor Timmins went back to Europe and selected Swedish centre Lukas Vejdemo. Vejdemo posted solid numbers in the Swedish SuperElit league before breaking into the SHL for a handful of games.Very well rounded, but lacking any one standout skill Vejdemo is projected to be a solid two way, top nine forward at the professional level.

Following a recent fifth round trend, Timmins selected another undersized but smart forward at 131st overall. Bradley is heralded by scouts for his high Hockey IQ, which allows him to read and make plays with relative ease. He scored 17 goals in his rookie season and will likely build on that in the coming year with the Medicine Hat Tigers. Trusted on the penalty kill and dependable in all zones, Bradley could be yet another Timmins gem.

The Habs selected Simon Bourque at 177th overall, and added a solid puck moving blueliner from the QMJHL. Bourque logged big minutes this past season for the Rimouski Oceanic en route to a QMJHL championship and Memorial Cup berth. While not a massive point producer Bourque distributes the puck well on the powerplay and has a capable shot as well. Highly reliable in his own zone he handles opposing rushes with solid positioning and an active stick.
7th Round 207th Overall: Jeremiah Addison (@addy1zero on Twitter)

With their last overall pick the Canadiens selected Ottawa 67’s forward Jeremiah Addison, who is known mainly for his physical play. This past season saw him increase his scoring output by 30 points in Ottawa, and saw him showcase high end offensive skill that hadn’t been seen before. Known to finish his checks and play a hard-nosed game, Addison could potentially be a late bloomer for the Habs.
