Canadiens vs Leafs second period thread

The Habs got off to a good start possession-wise, jumping up to a 83.3 CF% before Phil Kessel wrapped one in past Carey Price to prevent him from registering a 10th shutout of the season. Whatever David Desharnais has been sniffing on the bench he better bring with him to the playoffs, as he sniped the tying goal 15 seconds later after being shown on multiple replays snorting the smelling salts heavily. By the midway point in the first period the Habs were up 17-8 in CF, but shots were close with the Habs only leading 5-4.

The Leafs jumped to a 2-1 lead after Casey Bailey scored his first ever NHL goal. The Habs ultimately dominated the first period, walking into the intermission with 62.85 CF%, but trailing 2-1 on the scoreboard.
