Nick Suzuki had drawn a penalty while looking for offence on a short-handed shift. When Montreal’s man got out of the box to swing the advantage in the Habs’ favour, it was Suzuki who started off the scoring play. He sent the puck back to the blue line after drawing in some defenders, and Jeff Petry got it to the opposite wing, where Tomas Tatar fired it short-side.
