Ben Bishop sprung Steven Stamkos on a sloppy Habs’ line-change and he made no mistake, feeding Vladislav Namestikov who was wide open in front of the net enough to put on a lightning fast side-to-side deke to tuck the puck past Carey Price’s low blocker. The Habs immediately took a penalty, with Dale Weise going to the box for 4 minutes for slashing and for subsequently talking smash to the ref. The 4 minutes in the box surpassed Weise’s time spent on the ice to that point as he was only used for 2:05 before taking the penalties.
