Hockey is fast game that requires the ability to make split second decisions – an ability lost on Alexei Emelin. It’s hard to defend his actions, which do not seem premeditated, but not thought out either. Emelin is on the fringe – he may or may not get a suspension for the hit on Jason Spezza, but either way, he’s getting closer to being on his way out of Montreal.
Tyler Seguin has magical hands too, and he just wants everyone to remember that. I’m so happy he isn’t a Leaf.
The third period will probably rest on the able shoulders of Carey Price, as the Stars are almost doubling up the Habs in shots.
