The Rangers claimed the Presidents’ Trophy in the regular season, and so far have lost just two games in the playoffs. They should get their toughest test so far in the Florida Panthers. New York starts off the Eastern Conference Final on home ice, but that hasn’t been the advantage you’d normally expect for teams in this post-season, with road clubs going 16-9 in the second round. The Panthers will try to keep that trend going in Game 1.
