Canadiens vs Senators game thread

The Senators are more or less icing their full lineup tonight, with the exception of defenseman Marc Methot. We’ll see newly signed Bobby Ryan in action, as well as defensive star, and new Senators captain, Erik Karlsson.

Robin Lehner is expected to start for the Sens, whereas the Habs will respond with Peter Budaj.

On the Habs side of things we’ll once again see Max Pacioretty, David Desharnais and PA Parenteau together on a line. Habs fans will want to see a little more from Parenteau, who has been underwhelming to say the least so far in preseason.

Jacob de la Rose and Christian Thomas will get another chance to impress their coach, who still has to make some tough decisions before the start of the regular season on October 8th.

Puck drop is at 7:30 EST, at the Canadian Tire Centre.

The game will be carried on TV by RDS & TSN.
