Some news from the Montreal Canadiens coming from their optional morning skate before their game against the Chicago Blackhawks tonight.
Dale Weise and Tom Gilbert both skated before their teammates took the ice. Carey Price did as well, again without equipment.
Max Pacioretty, who missed yesterday’s practice also returned which was a sight for sore eyes considering there is a game tonight.
Optional skate for #Habs. Subban, Desharnais, Byron, Petry and Mitchell only ones missing this AM. #TSN690

That is actually good news for Petry as reports say he will be making his return to the lineup tonight against the Blackhawks. He missed the team’s last game against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
#Habs Smith-Pelly, Pateryn, Tinordi and Weise doing the extra work after AM skate and likely scratches for tonight vs CHI
