The San Jose Sharks, St. Louis Blues, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Washington Capitals are all on to the second round of the NHL playoffs. All four teams are constantly criticized for being chokers, yet two of them eliminated the most recent Stanley Cup champions in dramatic fashion, and those are likely the four strongest teams remaining in the playoffs. Is this the year of the chokers?

Robyn, Conor, and I will give you our second round predictions, with Anaheim and Nashville still to be decided, we’ll predict their series based on both possible outcomes. We’ll also go through who picked best in round one!

Habs prospect Artturi Lehkonen has won the SHL championship with Frolunda, after winning the Champions League earlier in the year. All told, Lehkonen scored 32 goals and 32 assists in 78 games in Sweden this season, which projects to a 20 goal, 20 assist season in the NHL if he were to play 82 games. Is he a possibility to make the Habs next season?
