The team started off with special teams work, and interestingly Jeff Petry was not present on any of the units.
#Habs On travaille sur l’avantage numérique ce matin. Les défenseurs sont Markov, Subban, Beaulieu et Barberio. Pas de Petry

Translation: Habs are working on their power play this morning. The defenceman are Markov, Subban, Beaulieu and Barberio. No Petry.
The reason why Petry isn’t present on the special teams units? He’s actually out, day-to-day with a lower-body injury.
The good news is that we should no longer see David Desharnais on the point, which was an “interesting” experiment that failed miserably.
Here are the forward lines from practice:

It’s worth noting that after his healthy scratch during the last game, Fleischmann is practicing as the 13th forward.
