Nathan Beaulieu, Patrick Holland, and Greg Pateryn sent down to Hamilton

With the Canadiens not playing until Monday, and the Hamilton Bulldogs playing their third game in three nights tomorrow, the Habs’ management group clearly saw an opportunity to get an extra game in for all their prospects, not to mention save a couple days of cap space for all three.

So Nathan Beaulieu, Patrick Holland, and Greg Pateryn were on a late flight to join the Bulldogs, likely with return flights already booked for Tuesday morning.

Holland had a much more visible game against the Sharks than his first two, particularly with a handful of clever plays to clear the defensive zone.

Beaulieu has also been steadily improving, in spite of being tethered to a 5’8″ boat anchor, and seeing his ice time severely limited. A game as the top guy in the AHL should be good for him.

The full lineup in Hamilton will give them the strongest defense core they’ve had in years, which should make tomorrow’s game very fun to watch.
