Canadiens vs. Ducks Game Thread, roster, lines, and how to watch

Since Alex Galchenyuk has cooled down over the past couple of games, the Habs’ offense has gone completely missing. With injuries piled up so much you might get one yourself reading the list, it’s fair to say the Habs are done for the season, nine games to go, and nothing left to do but play out the nine remaining games.

That said, there are a number of players with more on their minds than just coasting through to the end of the season. Michael McCarron scored his first career NHL goal Sunday night – the Habs’ only goal of the weekend – and showed his excitement for the accomplishment, a happiness this team has rarely been privy to over the month of March where the Habs have just three wins (3-6-1).

The Ducks are two wins back of the Pacific Division lead currently held by the Los Angeles Kings at 93 points. The Ducks’ turnaround has been a major topic of focus of late, as the Ducks appear poised to make some noise in the playoffs after starting the season with a 1-7-2 record.

Lineup notes: The roster for tonight’s game remains the same as Sunday’s loss the to Flames, with a few minor tweaks to the third and fourth line; Mike Condon gets the start after allow four goals on 35 shots; this will be Mike Condon’s 45th start of the season.

The puck drops at 7:30 PM EDT.
