Game 76: Montreal Canadiens vs. Toronto Maple Leafs

Start time: 7:00 PM EDT / 4:00 PM PDT
In Canada: CBC, Sportsnet (English), TVA Sports (French)
Streaming: CBC Gem, ESPN+, Sportsnet+

As the Canadiens play the Maple Leafs for the final time this season, they will be doing so without their best defensive lineup. Kaiden Guhle is out with a suspected concussion following the unpenalized hit from Nikita Kucherov in the last game, and Arber Xhekaj is also dealing with an injury. Johnny Kovacevic will get back into the lineup, and the Habs have also recalled Justin Barron from Laval to fill the sixth spot on the blue line.

At forward, Tanner Pearson takes Jesse Ylönen’s place as the only alteration up front. The top two lines will remain the same as Martin St-Louis is confident his top six can match up well with Sheldon Keefe’s formation.

Samuel Montembeault takes the crease for the Habs in the Saturday night home game before the team hits the road for tomorrow’s tilt in New York City. The goaltender finally beat the Florida Panthers in his last start, and now wants to knock off another playoff club as the season winds down.
