Habsent Minded 2:21: Breaking down the top performances from the opening month

In this episode, we dive into the decisions made by the staff of Eyes On The Prize for the players the month of October throughout the Montreal Canadiens organization.

Montreal Canadiens Organizational Players of October

We start in Europe with Mattias Norlinder, and the process of grading his performance against Jesse Ylönen’s. In the end, the Swede beat out the Finn by a whisker, and the places might be reversed come next month’s list.

Cole Caufield, the Canadiens’ own Badger, has a taste for the net, and while the European honour was a close race, the American sniper stood alone in North America, and might monopolize the title of North American Prospect of the Month for the full season.

From the Rocket in Laval, rookie goalkeeper Cayden Primeau was the choice, and Scott Matla tells us what that means for Charlie Lindgren.

Finally it was standout performer Jonathan Droiun, the player who fell from the top spot in this summer’s Top 25 Under 25, who took the honours, owning up to everything he said he would do this summer and proving his detractors wrong.
