Habsent Minded Episode 2.17: The Comeback Canadiens

Jared Book is joined by Patrik Bexell as they discuss the opening week of the Montreal Canadiens season. Comebacks to earn points against the Carolina Hurricanes and Toronto Maple Leafs — two of the better teams in the Eastern Conference — is something that has been rare for the team.

Jared throws out a statistic that the Canadiens did something they didn’t do over the last two seasons, and shows how rare this was.

The two also look at the upcoming week and games against the Buffalo Sabres, Detroit Red Wings, and St. Louis Blues and discuss the tough schedule the team will be facing in October.

Then they discuss the changing of the American Hockey League and how an improved roster for the Laval Rocket still may not be enough for the team to make the playoffs.
