Montreal Canadiens interim head coach Dominique Ducharme is preparing for his first game as head coach, and there are several changes to take note of. The team plays the Winnipeg Jets on Thursday night.

Paul Byron is taking Jake Evans’ spot at centre on the fourth line, and he is joined by Artturi Lehkonen, who has been a healthy scratch for the last two games.
Tomas Tatar is back with Phillip Danault and Brendan Gallagher, while Tyler Toffoli is back with Jesperi Kotkaniemi and Corey Perry.
The line of Jonathan Drouin, Nick Suzuki, and Josh Anderson will stay in place.
On defence, Joel Edmundson was not skating at morning skate, which did not seem optional. Brett Kulak skated with Jeff Petry.

Edmundson and Carey Price, who was also not skating, had maintenance days according to the team.
Dominique Ducharme confirmed both Price and Edmundson will be in the lineup Thursday.
