After the win over the Carolina Hurricanes on Thursday night, the Montreal Canadiens offered some information on their injured players.
Zach Redmond, who has been out of action since the pre-season, will be sent to St. John’s for a conditioning stint, and fly to California to join the NHL club in the middle of their road trip. The IceCaps have two games versus the Providence Bruins, on Friday and Saturday, for him to get back into game shape.

It was also announced that Artturi Lehkonen will be joining the team when they make the trek to Detroit for Saturday’s game, and may be back in the lineup for the game.

Unfortunately, the injury to Nathan Beaulieu seems to be more serious than thought, as he will be left behind when the Habs make their journey west. Brian Flynn will also be staying home.
The return of Lehkonen will mean one of the formerly recalled St. John’s players will be re-assigned before the game on Saturday. It remains to be seen if that will be Chris Terry or Charles Hudon.
