Montreal Canadiens announce 27-player development camp roster

For the first time since 2019, the Montreal Canadiens will be hosting a rookie camp in Brossard, Quebec. The event runs from September 15-21, and gives the player development staff a chance to see the prospects in various testing situations and scrimmages. It will be the first chance not only to bring in many of the selections from the 2021 NHL Draft, but the 2020 class as well.

These are the 27 players who will be attending the camp.

For some of the prospects, it will be a rare chance to play after the pandemic had a major impact on Junior and collegiate hockey over the past two seasons. It will be an opportunity to start getting up to speed with hopefully a full 2021-22 campaign on the horizon for all of them.

There will be three games, a home-and-home against the Ottawa Senators, plus a game in Brossard against a U Sports all-star team.
