The 72 players attending Montreal Canadiens training camp were split into four groups for the first three days of camp. There will be three scrimmages per team followed by Sunday’s Red-White scrimmage at the Bell Centre.

The first groups take to the ice on Thursday morning and Group A includes Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield. It looks like Emil Heineman or Jesse Ylönen will have the first shot next to them.

All scrimmages will be streamed on RDS’s website from the CN Complex in Brossard. The link is available here.

Group B includes Lias Andersson, Kirby Dach, and Sean Monahan, among others.

Group C includes Brendan Gallagher, Rafaël Harvey-Pinard, and David Reinbacher, among others.

Alex Newhook will be in Group D with Juraj Slafkovský and Josh Anderson among notable players.

The first pre-season game will be held on Monday, September 25 against the New Jersey Devils at the Bell Centre. The Canadiens will play six pre-season games this year, down from their typical eight.
