The Montreal Canadiens announced the roster that will take part in the team’s rookie camp as well as the rookie challenge in Buffalo.

There will be 27 players in camp led by 2023 fifth-overall pick David Reinbacher. He will be joined by fellow 2023 picks Florian Xhekaj, and Quentin Miller. Notable prospects attending the camp are Owen Beck, Joshua Roy, Riley Kidney, Filip Mesar, and Sean Farrell at forward. On defence, Logan Mailloux will make his professional camp debut as will goaltender Jakub Dobeš.

Ty Smilanic is the lone NCAA prospect at camp, perhaps an indication that he intends to play professionally this season.
