Lukas Vejdemo
2015-2016 Season with Djurgardens: 5 G – 12 A — 17 P, 12 PIMs
The 2015 third-round draft selection made his presence known on a gorgeous penalty-shot goal, deking goalie Hayden Hawkey just enough to then slide the puck in five hole. Vejdemo will spend another season overseas in Sweden playing for Djurgardens of the SHL, where he’ll be looking to make another step forward in his pro career.
Mikhail Sergachev
2015-2016 Season with Windsor Spitfires: 17 G – 40 A — 57 P, 56 PIMs
The scrimmages today belonged to Mikhail Sergachev with the 2016 first-round pick notching three goals, each one prettier than the last. It’s incredible to see such a large body move with such ease. Throw in the ability to dangle around defenders and you have plenty of reasons to be excited about Sergachev this coming season.
Michael McCarron
2015-2016 Season with St. John’s IceCaps: 17 G – 21 A — 38 P, 91 PIMs
With a full professional season under his belt, McCarron is thriving as a Habs prospect. He notched a pair of goals in the scrimmages yesterday. His first goal he powered to the net and squeezed one short side on Zach Fucale before tallying a five-hole penalty shot goal later on.
Jake Evans
2015-2016 Season with University of Notre Dame: 8 G – 25 A — 33 P, 29 PIMs
Evans is looking more and more like a diamond in the rough for the Canadiens after an outstanding season for the University of Notre Dame. He bested Michael McNiven in yesterday’s matchup with a lightning quick wrist shot from the slot for one of his team’s few goals of the day.
Charles Hudon
2015-2016 Season with St. John’s IceCaps: 28 G – 25 A — 53 P, 79 PIMs
Out of everyone at this development camp, Hudon may be the most NHL-ready prospect, especially with two outstanding AHL seasons under his belt. The Alma, Quebec native tallied a pair of goals and showed of some slick hands while driving between a pair of defenders to notch a gorgeous goal.

Development camp continues tomorrow, and will feature another pair of scrimmages as Team A will face Team D and Team B will square off with Team C. The last day of camp will be on July 7th and feature one final prospect game starting at 9 AM EDT.
