Monday off-day game thread
There are only two games on the NHL schedule tonight, and they're both late.
The Edmonton Oilers were supposed to be good this year, but they've kind of sucked, completely. It's not really fair to judge them yet though, as they're playing without both of their top two centermen as Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Sam Gagner both watch from the sidelines.
They haven't been helped by Devan Dubnyk being uncharacteristically porous, and Nail Yakupov failing to get anything going. They'll try to change that tonight against the New Jersey Devils, who are also yet to win a game in this young season. The game begins right now at 9:30pm.
Later on, the Kings and Rangers faceoff at 10:30pm. It's a late night for Eastern hockey fans.
