After Daniel Briere, Jiri Sekac, and Rene Bourque have all come out and complained publicly about the lack of communication by Montreal Canadiens head coach Michel Therrien, the Ice Level crew of Conor McKenna, Robyn Flynn, and I discuss whether this is something that should be a serious critique, or a bit more of a symptom of jilted players.

After a rough trip through California, it might be an unfair time to evaluate the acquisitions made by the Canadiens at the deadline, but I was gone on vacation then so I’m bringing it back up so we can discuss our first impressions of Devante Smith-Pelly, Jeff Petry, Bryan Flynn, and Torrey Mitchell.

Finally, it’s about time that people around the league start talking about how great P.K. Subban is again. There seemed to be some harsh overreaction to him winning the Norris Trophy, but he’s putting up possibly an even more impressive year now, and getting no buzz for it. Carey Price’s even more remarkable year is overshadowing Subban, is it even possible for them both to win awards in the same season?

Also, we talking about Brando’s meatballs. If you have to ask, you need to listen.
