McCarron and Carr called up from the IceCaps, de la Rose reassigned

Marc Bergevin and the Montreal Canadiens announced this morning that they were making some lineup changes.

Daniel Carr and Michael McCarron were recalled to the Habs, whereas Jacob de la Rose was reassigned to the IceCaps.

In nine games with the Canadiens, de la Rose was kept off the scoresheet and produced a team worst 42% CF in the process. To be fair, de la Rose is constantly thrown to the wolves when it comes to his usage.

In 15 games with the Canadiens this year, McCarron created one goal, three assists, and a 49.3 CF%.  For his part. Carr has two goals and four assists in 31 NHL games, as well as a 50.5 CF%. As for their performance in the AHL, McCarron has 19 points in 30 games, whereas Carr has produced eight points in six games.

Neither of the players joining the Canadiens are considered game changers, but they should be able to create more offence than de la Rose, which is a department that the Canadiens have struggled with mightily during recent games.
