Martin Reway scores again, now leads the Czech Extraliga in scoring

There were concerns over Martin Reway’s lack of even-strength production with HC Sparta Praha last season, and the same issue resurfaced early this season, as Reway’s points continued to stream in from powerplay situations.

Fortunately, the incredibly skilled forward seems to have rectified that issue. He’s scoring goals during 5 on 5 situations, which can only be seen as incredibly encouraging for his development.

Here’s his latest goal, which came against HC Oceláři Třinec. Reway also earned two assists during the game.

As it stands, Reway leads all other players in the Czech Extraliga, with five goals and seven assists in 12 games.

For reference, Reway managed to produce 37 points in 34 games last season, although the lion’s share of his points came on the powerplay, and he only earned nine goals throughout the year.
