Worst start to a game this season? I would say so. It seems like every time the Canadiens face the Maple Leafs, they become them.
Horrible coverage by Andrei Markov and Alexei Emelin resulted in a shitbag named Komarov getting his first career goal, then a lucky bounce off of a face off that David Desharnais was waved out of resulted in Erik Cole losing his man, and Tyler Bozak scored to put the Leafs up 2-0.
The Leafs are a bad team. Like really bad. There are no excuses for that kind of performance. At least Therrien seems to have noticed that Lars Eller was the only Hab to play the full period, and promoted him to the Alex Galchenyuk line.
40 minutes to save this monstrosity of a game.
