Tonight on Ice Level, the usual cast of characters returns with Conor McKenna now back from Miami and ready to eat a Thai chicken pizza, and James David back from a camping trip in Ontario. Will Conor be weirdly tanned? Will everyone still get along after a brief separation? You’ll have to tune in to find out.
First up, we’ll discuss the recent analytics hirings by NHL teams and whether that might impact the public consumption of statistics in a different way than previously expected. Surely no one expected Extra Skater to disappear overnight.
After that, we have a bit of a surprise, as Ice Level will host the very first interview with the master of hot takes himself, Dr. Hot Takes of The Hot Takery. This is phenomenally exciting for us, and we’re going to see how many spicy hot takes he can dish per minute.
Finally, we’re checking in with Steve Dangle to talk about what the expectations are for the Atlantic division this year, and what kind of foolishness we’re going to see from the Maple Leafs in their run up to their centennial season.
