Joshua Roy has been scratched from the Laval Rocket lineup, with the report being that he will be recalled by the Montreal Canadiens. That report is expected to be made official at the 5:00 PM EST deadline that marks the end of the day in the NHL.

In the second period of the game between the Canadiens and Dallas Stars on Saturday afternoon, Rafaël Harvey-Pinard was involved in a collision with Joel Armia and had to be helped to the dressing room. He was ruled out for the remainder of the game, and it appears he will be unable to play in at least tomorrow’s game as well.

Roy has already made his NHL debut this season, and looked very good on a line with Armia and Sean Monahan before being reassigned to Laval. With the Habs needing a winger to get back up to 12 forwards (Brendan Gallagher has two more games to serve of his suspension), the decision was to brig Roy back up.

Roy had two points in his debut stint of six games, including his first goal.
