The three month timeline puts him at an early September recovery, which means he should be ready to go for training camp.
The 2013 second-round draft pick started the season with the Hamilton Bulldogs in the AHL, producing six goals and 5 assists in 37 games. Following a call-up with the Habs, de la Rose netted four goals and two assists in 33 games. Michel Therrien was quite impressed with de la Rose from the get-go, not for his offensive flair, which is limited, but for his well-honed defensive prowess. He spent the majority of the season on the bottom line, adding a much-needed defensive presence to the mix.
