UPDATE: Juulsen has been transported to hospital for evaluations.

In the opening minutes, Noah Juulsen had a shot hit him in the visor. He was left with a mark on his cheek, but was able to return to the game.
Unfortunately, later in the period, a puck ramped up his stick and hit him in the same spot once again. This time it opened up a gash, forcing him to the dressing room.
The injury is serious enough that he has left the game, though he was able to change out of his equipment before heading off for medical attention.
