Earlier this week Renaud Lavoie reported that according to his sources, there’s no expectation of a coaching change this summer for the Montreal Canadiens. The specific impression was that a coaching change would be a surprise, there was technically no report that Michel Therrien would be back, and Marc Bergevin cautioned to not believe reports, so what do we think is happening?

In Women’s hockey, two trophies were won last week, only to see an avalanche of drama unfold right after. With celebrations going on for the Boston Pride, NWHL commissioner Dani Rylan announced that they plan on expanding into Montreal and Toronto, two of more CWHL markets, after nearly destroying the CWHL’s Boston Blades. Shortly after an email blast was sent out from a disgruntled NWHL employee claiming that the league was defaulting on partnerships, and heavily mismanaged.
