The biggest revelation for the Montreal Canadiens heading into training camp was likely that Alex Galchenyuk would be playing centre this season, but the second biggest was that Lars Eller and not David Desharnais would be the one moving to the wing. With Alexander Semin on Galchenyuk’s other wing, the trio impressed in both training camp and the Red vs White scrimmage, but do we think it’ll last?

After a long, long time without our former regular guest, Steve “Dangle” Glynn is back on the podcast! We’ll be asking Steve about Don Cherry impressions, and hopefully setting something up for charity with P.K. Subban.

Finally, the Canadiens named a captain this year, and by player vote for the first time in a long time. Did the players make the right choice? Can Pacioretty handle the rigours of being captain in a bilingual market that seems to be demanding more and more French?
