Jesperi Kotkaniemi earned some time on the top power-play unit, and the decision immediately paid dividends. Getting the puck at the side of the net, he got it right to the front to start a scramble. Jeff Petry calmly plucked the puck out of the scrum and put it in the net to make it 3-2 for the Canadiens.
