Bulldogs Player of the Week: Eric Tangradi
When he was acquired for fan favourite Peter Budaj, it was expected that Eric Tangradi would be able to contribute effectively at the AHL level. After missing chunks of the season with various injuries it would appear that Tangradi has found his groove. With five goals and six points in four games played, it was nearly impossible to stop Tangradi from putting the puck in the net.
He started the week by assisting on Drayson Bowman’s tenth goal of the season in a 5-2 loss to the Utica Comets. He followed that up by scoring two first period goals against the Charlotte Checkers in a 4-0 win. To end the week Tangradi registered a hat trick against the North Division leading Comets, in a 6-3 win on Sunday afternoon.

Charles Hudon: The rookie forward continues to produce at a high level with a trio of assists this week. He remains tied for fifth overall in AHL scoring, and continues to lead all rookies.
Gabriel Dumont: The Bulldogs captain didn’t find the back of the net, but grabbed a pair of assists.
Sven Andrighetto: The Swiss scoring machine continues to rack up the points for the Bulldogs. Andrighetto notched a goal and two assists in four games played.
Daniel Carr: While Hudon leads the team in overall points, the other rookie leads in goals. Carr had another monster week, with four goals and an assist in four games played. He now leads the Bulldogs with nineteen goals. Having produced ten goals and two assists in the month of February, Carr took home AHL Rookie of the Month honours as well.
Davis Drewiske: The veteran defenseman did not register any points despite thirteen shots on goal.
Drayson Bowman: Hopefully no one forgot about Dray, because the veteran forward contributed two goals and two assists.
Christian Thomas: The speedy winger was returned to Hamilton, failing to record a point in two games.
Darren Dietz: The big blueliner continues a solid sophomore campaign by grabbing an assist.
Greg Pateryn: The Bulldogs utility defenseman has been sent back down to Hamilton after a solid run of games in Montreal.
Mac Bennett: The former Michigan Wolverine played in one game before missing the rest of the week with an injury.
Jacob de la Rose: The young Swede is currently on recall with the Canadiens where he scored the first two goals of his NHL career.
Jarred Tinordi: Despite playing well during his call up Tinordi was sent down to make room for Sergei Gonchar in Montreal. The hulking blueliner recorded no points in three games played.
Connor Crisp: The ever truculent Crisp recorded no points , but had one of the craziest fights I’ve ever witnessed, against Kyle Hagel.
Bryan Allen: The veteran defenseman grabbed a single assist, while registering six shots on goal.
Jack Nevins: Nevins was traded to the Buffalo Sabres, along with a seventh round pick, for Torrey Mitchell. Don’t fret, because Jake Dowell can always take over the pugilistic reigns if need be.
Morgan Ellis: The young defensemen is making the most of his call up to Hamilton, by notching a game winning goal and three assists this week.
Dalton Thrower: The rugged blue liner was recalled from Brampton, but did see any action this week.
Mike Condon: The Bulldogs starting goalie is putting together a strong case for team MVP with another solid week in net. In three starts Condon went 2-1-0 with a 2.33 GAA and .934 SV%
Joey MacDonald: The Bulldogs backup goalie started just one game this week and despite 40 saves would take the loss in overtime.

The Bulldogs record currently stands at 28-21-8 which gives them sixty four points overall. This puts them second overall in the AHL’s North Division, and seventh in the Western Conference. The team is back in action on Wednesday March 4th, as they take on the Adirondack Flames. They’ll then have back-to-back games on the 6th and 7th, against North Division rivals Rochester and Utica.
