Habsent Minded Episode 22: Blending a win

Jared Book, Scott Matla and Patrik Bexell look at the last week in the Montreal Canadiens organization, but start things off with Canada’s 3-2 overtime win over the United States at the IIHF Women’s World Under-18 championship. It was their first major women’s tournament win at any level since 2014.

We also talk Youppi’s birthday, which starts a conversation about mascots, and how social media has allowed adults to engage with mascots again.

They discuss the newest lines used by Claude Julien, and the win against the Colorado Avalanche as well as the week ahead. The Laval Rocket split two games in Manitoba and head home for three games this weekend.

The CWHL All-Star Game is this weekend in Toronto. Seven members of Les Canadiennes will take part. Tickets are available here.
