Habsent Minded Episode 12: The Habs are Actually Good?

The Montreal Canadiens had another successful week and the panel of Jared Book, Namiko Hitotsubashi and Scott Matla are left to wonder whether the Canadiens should be considered a good team.

They talk about the balanced approach, and Tomas Tatar’s great start and answer a fan question about similarities to the 2012-2013 team.

Les Canadiennes started their season facing an unconventional system employed by legendary coach Shannon Miller. Imagine putting four forwards on the ice against Marie-Philip Poulin and Hilary Knight at even strength? It happened.

The panel got some breaking news about former Canadiens prospect Simon Bourque heading to U Sports, and discussed that and also discussed the changing fortunes of the Laval Rocket, who are not playing anything like they did last year when they were the worst team in the AHL.
