Habsent Minded Episode 2.55: Return to Play

The Montreal Canadiens are back to training camp, and a full crew came back to Habsent Minded for our newest episode.

Jared Book, Julian McKenzie, and Patrik Bexell start off the episode by discussing the upcoming NHL Draft and the uncertainty surrounding the late draft and start to European seasons.

Then they discuss the signing of Alexander Romanov and the various reasons why it’s beneficial to have him join the team and get acclimated to the city. They also discuss the precarious position that so many prospects in North America may find themselves with uncertainty surrounding the CHL, NCAA, and AHL seasons ahead of the projected December start to the 2020-21 NHL season.

Finally, they discuss the first few days of training camp and the lines that Claude Julien is using and how they may match up against the Pittsburgh Penguins, including in a best-of-five and not a best-of-seven series.

The episode should be available on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, and Spotify if you subscribe to it there.
