The Habs will face either the Bruins or the Red Wings in round two, and they’ll do so (hopefully) with the addition of Alex Galchenyuk. There’s been no word on his progress of late, we’ll have to keep an eye on it.

Stephane Robidasre-injured his leg, meaning he’s likely to miss the remainder of the playoffs. Tough luck for Robidas, who was playing in Dallas for the first time since his trade.
The dirtbag known as Matt Cooke struck again, this time he took out Tyson Barrie’s knees, forcing the Avalanche d-man to miss at least 4-6 weeks with a torn MCL. The waste of DNA was offered an in-person hearing, meaning he’ll likely get suspended for more than 5 games.
