Game Thread: Canadiens vs. Bruins at Prospect Challenge

After falling to the host Buffalo Sabres on Friday night, the Montreal Canadiens rookies take on the Boston Bruins in their second of three games at the challenge.

With three games, there was always going to be some rotation, especially with two games in less than 24 hours like they have tonight.

The game will start at 3:30 p.m. Eastern and is available on all Montreal Canadiens social media channels.

The lineup will see Quentin Miller make his first start after being selected in the 2023 NHL Draft. Filip Mesar will play centre on the top line with Emil Heineman and Xavier Simoneau, while Logan Mailloux will be paired with Jayden Struble, who will make his tournament debut.

Ty Smilanic is also among the players playing their first game of camp.

After Saturday afternoon’s game, the team has a day off on Sunday before closing the challenge with a game against the Ottawa Senators on Monday.
