At 101st overall in the 2023 NHL Draft, the Montreal Canadiens have selected Florian Xhekaj, the brother of 2022-23 standout defenceman Arber.
Unlike Arber, Florian is a forward, but has similar size to his sibling. Playing with the Hamilton Bulldogs of the OHL, Florian had 25 points in 68 games, and 76 penalty minutes. Turning 19 a few days ago, he will play just his second season in the Ontario league next season.
