Daniel Carr signs two-year contract extension with Canadiens

The Montreal Canadiens have announced that they’ve agreed to a two-year contract with Daniel Carr.

A two-year deal is deserved by Carr after he made his NHL debut and solidified a spot on the NHL roster.

The contract is for 725,000$ per season which is a very, very good cap hit for someone who should be in the Canadiens top nine.

Carr had a very encouraging rookie season with the Habs, notching six goals and three assists in 23 games. He split the year between the IceCaps and the Canadiens, and his scoring prowess was evident in both leagues. This shouldn’t come as a surprise, seeing as Carr has specialized in scoring goals his entire hockey career.
