Daniel Audette and Jeremiah Addison will join the St. John’s IceCaps

Both Daniel Audette and Jeremiah Addison will be joining the IceCaps for the remainder of the year, seeing as their CHL teams have been eliminated from the playoffs.

Audette’s team, the Sherbrooke Phoenix, were eliminated in five games versus the Shawinigan Cataractes. Audette scored one goal and added four assists in the process. Audette had 22 goals and 37 assists in 52 games this year.

Addison was playing with the Ottawa 67’s, who were eliminated in the first round versus the Niagara IceDogs. Addison had three points in the six-game series. During the regular season he scored 27 goals and added 29 assists in 66 games.

The reinforcements come at a key time, seeing as the AHL roster has been devastated by the endless stream of call-ups, however they’re too late to save the season, since the IceCaps have been eliminated from the playoffs. It was the fifth season in a row that Montreal’s AHL affiliate missed the cutoff.
