Connor Crisp reassigned to Brampton

Connor Crisp was assigned to the Brampton Beast of the ECHL on Monday afternoon, triggering what could be series of roster moves in the week ahead.

Crisp was initially sent to the Beast prior to the IceCaps leaving for their 12 day road trip, but recalls to Montreal of Charles Hudon and Chris Terry necessitated bringing back Crisp. While he rejoined the team on the road, he was a healthy scratch for three out of four games.

With the IceCaps not playing again until Friday, Crisp is returned to the Beast where he will have a chance to play on Thursday as the Beast take on the Orlando Solar Bears.

In three games with the IceCaps this season, Crisp has zero points. In three games with the Beast, Crisp has two goals and an assist.

With only 13 forwards on the roster, including Yannick Veilleux who was returned from loan to Brampton but was scratched for all three games, the IceCaps might be preparing to welcome back Daniel Carr, Charles Hudon, or Chris Terry as the Montreal Canadiens are expecting Artturi Lehkonen, and perhaps even Brian Flynn, to return from injury this week.
