Not exactly sure how the Raphael Diaz goal is unassisted when it only deflected off of Robidas, he didn’t gain possession, but maybe they’ll change that and give Tomas Plekanec and Brian Gionta their assists.
So far, the game has really showcased where the weakness of the Canadiens is. The three top lines are destroying the Stars at even strength, P.K. Subban and Andrei Markov are tearing them to shreds, Josh Gorges and Diaz are holding at about even, and the fourth line and bottom defense pairing got obliterated.
Patrick Holland, Michael Blunden, Ryan White, and Douglas Murray all finished the period with 0% Fenwick, while Bouillon managed 33%. Ugly.
