The Montreal Canadiens and Toronto Maple Leafs will play for the first of two back-to-back games at the Bell Centre on Friday night. The two teams will play again on Saturday, but likely look very different.

Friday’s game will see the return of Sean Monahan as he plays another game. This time he played on a line with Joel Armia and Josh Anderson. Jake Evans will play with Tanner Pearson and Brendan Gallagher. Joshua Roy will play with Owen Beck and Jesse Ylönen. The fourth line will be a Rocket-filled line with Jan Mysak with John Parker-Jones and Mitchell Stephens.

On defence, Jordan Harris will play with Logan Mailloux, Arber Xhekaj is with Gustav Lindström, and Nicolas Beaudin plays with Justin Barron.

Cayden Primeau will get the start for the Canadiens, after coming in relief of Jake Allen in Wednesday’s win over the Ottawa Senators. Strauss Mann is the backup.

Toronto’s lineup is led by former Canadiens legends Logan Shaw and William Lagesson. Ilya Samsonov will make the trip as will Matthew Knies and Ryan Reaves.
